Welcome to our blog…CarDorks!!! My name is Blanca and one half of what makes up CarDorks.
After trying to help my godfather shop for a vehicle I realized how difficult it may be finding something you want for a reasonable price. That is how the idea of CarDorks came about. I have worked in the car industry for 4 years now and I love it. I love meeting new people and I love helping them find the a car they just cant get enough of and the best part… that is within their budget. I am not a salesperson but I do work in sales.
I am in a department created by the new avenues of the car purchasing process, which is…the internet department. I am the one that receives an email alert when you are on our website looking for more information on a specific car. What I love about it so much is that I do not have to “negotiate” with anyone just truly find a car they want. Sometimes, our clients know what they are looking for and its quick and sometimes it takes a couple months until I find something that is exactly what they are looking for. Sometimes while we are both (client and I) are looking for a car we start to build a relationship and become friends.
Well that is a little about myself and as we keep blogging I am sure I will reveal more tidbits about myself but I thought you should know what I do for a living so you can see how we came up with the idea of CarDorks. At my job I am a “Sales Representative”, but it occurred to me that most of the time at my job I really am the “Customers Representative”. Then, when my godfather asked me to help him purchase his next car (my fiancé and I helped him find a Honda Ridgeline fairly loaded MSRP of $26,xxx for $22,500 OUT THE DOOR!!) so naturally he has asked for my assistance for his future purchase, the Honda Accord.
That is just a little about myself (one half of CarDorks) and my fiancé will write about himself.What we want to do is provide people with some information that is normally a little difficult to decipher and hopefully help a few people find the best price in their area. We will be blogging about specific cars that we really like or LOVE and break some up into categories. By combining both our experiences in the car business we hope you can use the information we provide you with and get your moneys worth on your next car purchase. Hi, my name is Pedro and I am the other half of Cardorks. Like Blanca said we decided to create this blog to help people and meet people which is the best part!
I have also worked in the industry about 4 years and enjoy working in the internet department.
Our Goal is to help take the stress out of car buying, so people can choose to buy and not have to be sold.
